Beca was born in São Paulo, Brazil two minutes before her fraternal twin sister, Amanda. She developed a love for film and television at a young age and moved to the U.S. after high school to pursue that passion. She enrolled in film school at Florida State University in Tallahassee and it was there that she began to focus her attention on post-production and further developed her skills as an editor. After graduating from FSU in 2010 – Go Noles! – she moved to Los Angeles and hasn’t stepped out of the editing bay since, except to cruise around town in her bitchin’ Jeep Wrangler.
Today, Beca spends her free time worshipping at the altar of Dave Matthews, perfecting her fantasy football lineup, and discovering new places to visit around the world via her Netflix queue. She likes playing tennis in the park, eating Mexican food, and is a recently converted hockey fan.
